poy8 06.27.04 - 9:31 pm A Pieces of You entry. Summertime Memories - Beaches, parks and vacations. Ice cream, long sunny days, bugs and bicycles. What are some of your favourite summertime memories? Hmmm. I remember went I went to Florida a few summer’s ago with the Cain family. This family consisted of a mom, a dad, and four boys all under the age of ten, at the time. I was there to baby sit, hahahahah. The twenty-seven hour drive there was, well, hell. It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen though. The ocean went on for miles and miles and miles. I do remember stepping on sand dollars. That was pretty sick. I’d always try to swim over them, but in two feet of water, that is kind of hard to do. I got my first real bad sunburn there, also. That sucked. That mother hurt like whoa. My back peeled for a week after that too. I had to sit in the hotel for a day because I couldn’t stand being in the sun. Florida is perfect though; the white beaches, the beautiful water, all of the different people. Wow. It’s completely breath taking, despite the fact that there a two-year-old crying the whole freaking time. That trip is the reason why I don’t baby sit anymore; too much crying, hissy fits, and bickering for me. I enough of that at home thank you very much.
