With each word you will respond with the first thing that comes to mind, but let's take it another step further, shall we. Of the 10 words, choose one, with the corresponding response and expand on them. Perhaps your response to that word was drawn from a memory that word posed or maybe it tickled your funny bone or inspired other creative ideas. The possibilities are endless. 1. Peanut Butter - Chocolate. The mix of chocolate and peanut butter is something that I loathe. 2. Insatiable - Greedy. Money. 3. Daisies - Black and white photographs. Yeah, I have no idea why “daisies” made me think that, but whatever. 4. Chewed Gum - ABC.* 5. Gang - ..bangers. What the... 6. Thunder - Storms. We’ve had a lot of those here in Oklahoma lately. 7. Monster - Monsters under my bed. I still have a fear of those. Also, monsters being in my closet. 8. Soda Pop - Addiction. I’m a self proclaimed Dr. Pepper addict. 9. Insecure - One of my not so great qualities. I think I’m very insecure about my body. 10. Forest - Stop chopping them all down! *”Chewed Gum” is the one I’m expanding on. I remember in second grade when I went to a “Girl Scout” camp. I remember doing a skip about ABC Gum. I remember I was the part of someone reading the newspaper. I reach under my chair and I find a piece of gum. I chew it and then stick it back under the chair. I turn the page of the newspaper and say aloud “News flash, ABC gum is the liest of them all. You will die if you chew some.” Then, everyone in my group falls to the ground, including me, and we pretend we are bacon and “sizzle” and then stop. We all died.
